Chain Guard / Cover

Chain Guard/Cover is the thin covering of the chains to prevent the chain or chain sprockets from any contact with the rider or the pillion passenger. It must extend at least 300 mm rearward of the rearmost foot rest or to the vertical center of the rear sprocket. Chain Guard/Cover is chrome plated for a longer life.

Though the chain cover/guard does not require much care and maintenance, they can be waxed periodically.
