Types of Clutch Lever
Generally, there are two types of clutch levers. They are:
- Hydraulic clutch lever
- Cable activated clutch lever
These levers are used when one have to do:
- Select and change gears
- Put the vehicle into neutral
- Carry out some slow-speed maneuvers
The two materials most commonly used for making these levers are:
- Steel
- Aluminum
- For better performance, the lever need to be checked for adequate amount of the hydraulic fluid or for the need of bleeding.
- Clutch levers loosen with time and have to be adjusted.
- They should be lubricated from time to time.
- The clutch levers should be checked for pivot holes whenever the clutch has to be rebuilt.
