The Fuel System lets the fuel and air
mixture into the engine. First, the fuel from the fuel tank is drawn up
by a fuel pump, which can be either mechanical or electric. Then, the
fuel is sent through fuel line to the fuel filter which removes any
foreign materials and moisture from the fuel. From there, it is sent to
the carburetor where it is mixed with air to form the optimum fuel
mixture for the present conditions.
