Functions of Head Lights
- Head Lights provide light during night time, precipitation, or foggy atmosphere. They enable the driver see his way and and warn the incoming vehicles about his presence.
- Automotive Head Lights keep the road ahead illuminated while driving.
- Head Lights made two wheeler more visible and thus increased safety. It act as a great protective device because it can prevent possible accidents.
- Head light has three main elements:
- The bulb, made of a tungsten wire filament that is encased in glass and surrounded by an inert gas, usually halogen.
- The reflector, a mirror which directs the light forward and also gives shape to the beam.
- The lens, it protects the bulb and the reflector. It also helps in shaping the beam of light.
- Two wheelers have a head light On/Off switch.
