Types of Motorcycle Odometers
Odometers are of two types. They are:
- Mechanical Odometer
- Digital Odometer
Mechanical odometers are very simple and operated by a flexible cable made from a tightly wound spring. The cable goes its way up to the instrument panel, where it is connected to the input shaft of the odometer. Digital odometers are replacing the mechanical ones because it cost less and have more features.

- Generally, if the odometer gives an error of more than five percent, it should be fixed.
