Functions of Motorcycle Oil Filter
- The main function of the motorcycle oil filter is to strain out contaminants and give a free flow through the engine, so that it does not act as an abrasive when the oil circulates.
- In the circulating process, the motorcycle oil filter protects the engine, making it durable and work smoothly.
- It reduces wear and balances the engine.
Proper maintenance of the oil filter is necessary for the proper working of the engine.
- Motorcycle Oil Filter should be preferably replaced at least every second oil change, say at every 3,000 miles or 3 months.
- The steel screen can be cleaned with kerosene, aerosol or any agent to wash away the grease.
- They should be put back properly at the correct position.
