Solenoid

A solenoid is a loop of wire wrapped around a metallic core. A magnetic field is created when a current is sent through the metallic core.

• The metal core is free to slide along the coil axis under the influence of the magnetic field.

• At every oil change, the cable connections should be checked to see if they are clean.
• There should not be any loose cable connections, they should be tight.
