A two wheeler sprocket is wheel with metal teeth upon which a chain rides. There are two sprockets, the front one commonly known as chain wheels or chain rings and the rear one also commonly known as cogs or gears.

Types of Sprockets
There are four types of sprockets:
  • Type A: These are plain plate sprockets
  • Type B: These types of sprockets have hub on one side only side
  • Type C: These types of sprockets have hub on both sides
  • Type D: These types of sprockets have detachable hub
Materials used for making Motorcycle Sprockets
