Tail Lights

The tail lights are the small lights used in the vehicles as an indicator. They are very important components of the lighting system which is part of the vehicle's safety features.

Types of Tail Lights
Generally, there are two types of tail light designs found on vehicles:

• An Independent Bulb System
• A Common Bulb System

Functions of Tail Lights

• They catches the attention of others and help avoid accident.
• They serves the two-fold purpose of a light which runs constantly and a brake light which is activated by application of the brakes.

Characteristics of Tail Lights

• They are always on when the ignition is on.
• Generally, they are located on the rear of the vehicle.
• Usually, the brake lights are part of the two wheeler tail lights.
• They are small and not very visible, so, they have to be flashed several times to catch attention.
